I am Mariah Miranda and I'm a visual creative based in Washington, D.C.
I officially started my photography journey as a photojournalism student in highschool and college, primarily focusing on women's issues and human interest stories.
As an individual, I'm passionate about creating dialogue around inclusion, sustainability, awareness, and ethical living. Due to my immense curiosity, my skill sets include (but are not limited to): lifestyle, documentary, editorial, fashion, dance/music videography, events, and portraiture.
Through a documentary and candid approach, I use my work as a medium to facilitate connection and vulnerability, regardless of the subject.
On the off chance that I'm not creating, I can be found hiking, taking impromptu road trips, and playing with my chewbacca look alike shih tzu, Jax.
