Women’s March was created in response to Trump’s confirmation in 2016, a gathering where thousands marched on the streets of Washington D.C. in community and peaceful demonstration. In 2019, I documented a small team of artists who were commissioned by Women’s March to create the artwork for the frontlines of the march. For weeks this group, lead by local muralists Rose Jaffe and Chelsea Ritter-Soronen, collaborated with their communities to create banners, posters, and puppets for demonstrators.
